- Negotiated and closed multi-million dollar real estate transactions for manufacturing plants, shopping centers, office buildings, apartment buildings and vacant land.
- Drafted and negotiated numerous long-term commercial leases for stores, restaurants and offices, representing both landlords and tenants.
- Significant construction law experience representing owners, construction companies and architects.
- Negotiated and closed real estate acquisition and construction loans and industrial development bonds.
- Represented shopping center developers through all phases of a project (acquisition, financing, construction, leasing, property management and sale of the center).
- Managed all real estate aspects of a complicated series of transactions involving (a) lease of an environmentally impaired manufacturing plant, (b) sale of the same property to a developer, with the seller remaining obligated to guarantee the lease and remediate the contamination and (c) subsequent Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization of the tenant.
- Managed condominium conversions and operations, and construction of new condominiums and townhomes.
- Extensive experience drafting and negotiating antenna site leases, including rooftops and towers. Negotiated several U.S.-wide master antenna site agreements.

- Provided advice on numerous due diligence and remediation (clean-up) projects in Illinois and other states.
- Represented buyers and sellers of contaminated real estate.

- Broad business law experience including selecting a business entity, due diligence for mergers and acquisitions and dispute resolution/litigation management.
- Responsible for purchasing issues for one of Motorola’s sections (divisions) including negotiating software development agreements, schedule sharing agreements and vendor contracts.
- Provided significant legal support for the purchase of assets from a major supplier going through a Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization.
